Fished OLD 26 with Alex D from 4am to 6:30am with live Garfish.

Collected Garfish from Quarentine area.

Alexs Gar was hit at 5:30am.

Incoming tide - big tide ripping through.

Brenton was fishing 35 with no runs all night.

Alex was using his popper rod with 50lb braid.

Mulloway had a Tag, have notified SAFTAG.

Hooked up at 5:40am at OLD 26.
Was using live Garfish.

Fish ran toward beacon so free spooled him and he swam back out into channel.

Got to ramp at 3am. Baits down 3:45am.

Dabbed gar at Quarentine jetty.

I fished the L jetty solo.

Collected Garfish from Quarentine Jetty.

While fishing the Outgoing tide one of the live Gar got smashed with ball sinker. The fish dropped the Gar and the Gar was still alive.

Gar with ball sinker was on Spinfisher with Status on the right hand side of boat and Gar under float was out the back about 20m.

A few seconds after the other rod went off, live Gar under Squid float.

Landed fish which went 134cm 22.5kg.

Hook up was at 9pm.

Was fishing Western corner of L Jetty.

Shaun and I fished the L Jetty corner.

Alex D. had a bust off here on 1st Feb.

Was a dark night.

Barometer: 1017.6 - slowly falling.

Moon:Waning Crescent 12% Visible

Dabbed gar at RSAYS.

We slept at L Jetty in my boat.

Hooked the Mulloway 141cm at approx. 12:10am.

My rod got hit and was closest to the corner of the jetty.

Setup:  Status Enforcer with Penn 7500 Spinfisher SSV with 15kg Momoi Pre Test.

Wind was a pretty strong S/E.
